Many people still remember the
sign on the front lawn that asked the above question. My friend, can you answer it honestly? Do you know where you will spend
eternity? The Lord has not left us to wander around and hope we land in Heaven someday. God has given a direct answer to a
good question.
Jesus stated in (John 3:7 ) " Ye must be born again", well how does one get "born again".
The first step is to realize that you are a sinner. The
Bible says " For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God" ( Romans 3:23 )
Because you are a sinner you are condemned to death in a
place called HELL.
" For the wages of sin is DEATH" ( Romans 6:23 )
Yes friend, there is a HELL and you will go there because of your sins and no one can save themselves.
" Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but
according to His mercy He saved us" ( Titus 3:5 )
You and I need a substitute, one to pay the price for us.
This is Jesus Christ.
" But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while
we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" ( Romans 5:8 )
You see, Jesus is the ONLY WAY to Heaven. His death, burial
and resurrection are the only thing God will accept.
" Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is
none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be SAVED." ( Acts 4:12 )
You must repent of sin and trust Jesus Christ as your personal
saviour. Repentance is a change of mind that agrees with God that sin is wrong and to trust Christ is what the Philippian
Jailer did in ( Acts 16:30-31). " And brought them out, and said,
Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."
Will you trust Jesus Christ right now? Will you or do you
want to pray and ask Jesus Christ to be YOUR personal saviour?
Just Pray:
Dear God, I know I am a sinner and I believe Jesus was my
substitute when he died on the cross. I believe that He shed His blood on Calvery and that He died and rose again. And I believe
that He did this for me, I am asking Him to be my saviour. Thank You for forgiveness of my sins and giving me the gift of
salvation and everlasting life.
AMEN
If you have prayed and asked Jesus to be your saviour, would
you please let us know. We would like to help you and direct you to a good Baptist church in your area so that God may continue
to bless you. If you would like to talk to me and pray with me you can give the church a call at ( 201) 998-4690 and leave
a message if no one answers and I would be more that happy to help you in anyway I can.
In Christ,
